Job summary

Vertical Laboratories LLC in Glendale, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Test Technician for our aerospace test lab. No prior experience required; we provide hands-on training on qualification testing from day one and continued education as you grow.

You will wire and prepare test samples, perform durability tests on military and aerospace connectors, document results with photos, and support set-up, monitoring, and teardown.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills (email, file management, spreadsheets).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Wiring, soldering, or crimping experience is a plus, but not required.

Entry-Level Test Technician

Vertical Laboratories LLC | Glendale, CA | Full-Time, Day Shift | $18.00–$20.00/hr

Start a career in aerospace testing. No experience required.

At Vertical Laboratories, the connectors and components we test go into aircraft, spacecraft, and subsea systems. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person who wants to learn the trade from the ground up. We'll train you on real qualification testing from your first weeks, and we keep training you after that.

What You'll Do:

• Wire and prepare test samples following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform mating durability testing on military and aerospace connectors.
• Photograph samples and test setups to document every stage of testing.
• Support experienced technicians with setup, monitoring, and teardown.
• Record test data and photos in our lab records system.
• Receive, log, and ship customer hardware.
• Keep the lab and shop clean, organized, and safe.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED.

Growth & Training:

You'll train alongside experienced technicians during your first weeks, and we invest in ongoing education throughout your career. Technicians who build their skills here have room to advance into more specialized testing roles.

Work Environment:

Active laboratory and shop environment with periodic elevated noise levels from test equipment; hearing protection provided where required. Work involves both standing and sitting, handling small components, and lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. PPE provided and required where applicable.
