Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Blood Bank and Core Laboratory. The role focuses on cross matches, type and screens, antibody panels, and Blood Bank QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Biological Science.
• ASCP certification required; non-certified must obtain within 12 months.
• 0-1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Blood Bank procedures: cross matches, type and screens, antibody panels, DAT workups.
• Handle blood components and donor workups; use LIS for Blood Bank tasks.
• Perform automated/manual Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology procedures.
• Troubleshoot instruments and participate in quality assurance.
