Qualifications

• Associate's degree in criminal justice, counseling, human services, psychology or social work from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of urine specimen collection and drug testing procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with people in a correctional setting.
• Ability to maintain and operate drug testing equipment and record results.

Responsibilities

• Procure urine specimens and Breathalyzer samples from inmates and DRC participants.
• Test, track, and preserve specimens per policies and procedures.
• Maintain calibration and operation of drug testing equipment and report results.
• Maintain accurate drug and alcohol testing records and prepare regular reports.
• Testify in court on test results and testing procedures when required.
• Train and supervise staff/interns in testing procedures and data entry.
• Collaborate with CCC staff and Probation Officers to ensure smooth information flow.
