Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of phlebotomy or specimen processing experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification (ASCP, ASPT, AMT, or NHA) preferred where required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology for laboratory procedures and results.
• Ability to follow written protocols and work independently.
• Strong communication skills with patients, staff and the public.

• Prepare specimens and assist with routine testing procedures.
