Job summary

Komline-Sanderson seeks a Lab Technician to conduct lab and pilot-scale testing, document results, and prepare technical reports. The role supports field testing and equipment startup at customer sites, following established safety and testing procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up tests, calibrating equipment, reviewing SDS, and developing test procedures with a focus on safety and data integrity while collaborating with engineering teams at our Peapack, NJ facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and unit conversions.
• Clear written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and conduct laboratory and pilot-scale tests; accurately record and analyze data and prepare clear, timely test reports
• Review Safety Data Sheets and customer information and specifications
• Plan, develop, and review test procedures
• Set up and conduct lab tests and record data
• Inspect and calibrate laboratory instruments to support accurate and reliable test results
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, including handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and test materials
• Support the development and continuous improvement of laboratory procedures, work instructions, and testing protocols
