Job summary

Pivot Bio is hiring a Lab Technician (Media Prep/Glassware) to aseptically prepare media for multiple departments, following SOPs and GMP guidelines. You will handle media types, operate equipment, and maintain meticulous records in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires at least an associate degree or equivalent, with preferred 1 year microbiology lab experience in media preparation. The team values precision, organization, and adherence to safety standards within a production setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year lab experience in Microbiology lab setting with media preparation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media (agar, broth, buffers) according to standardized instructions.
• Pipetting and sample handling.
• Maintain records and labeling of media.
• Operate instrumentation such as the HIVE and plate fillers.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs to ensure quality.
