Job summary

Cambridge Technologies in Iowa is seeking a Media Prep Lab Technician I to assist in the prepping and sterilizing media used in the production of Autogenous Vaccines. The candidate must read SOPs, work with minimal supervision, and follow regulatory guidelines; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle glassware sterilization are required.

You will document daily tasks, manage inventory, and communicate effectively with team while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced lab

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or higher.
• Aseptic Technique and clean room experience is preferred but not required.
• Good documentation practice experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of various media using filter or steam sterilization techniques.
• Read and understand Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) accurately.
• Record keeping and documentation of daily task.
• Preparing, cleaning, and sterilization of glassware and equipment used in procedures.
• Inventory management.
• Accurate communication amongst co-workers and supervisor.
• Follow regulatory guidelines by USDA and Cambridge Technologies policies.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• All other assigned duties.
