Job summary

Pivot Bio is seeking a Lab Technician (Media Prep/Glassware) to aseptically prepare media for multiple departments in a GMP-compliant setting. You will use instruments like the HIVE and automatic plate fillers, maintain records, and ensure clean glassware supply.

A 1-year microbiology background with media prep is preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and will join a collaborative lab team in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year lab experience in Microbiology lab setting with media preparation preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Preparing media (agar, broth, buffers) according to standardized preparation instructions.
• Pipetting and QC tasks according to SOPs and GMPs.
• Maintain records and prepare glassware for media use.
• Operate lab instrumentation such as the HIVE and plate fillers.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices per ALCOA guidelines.
