Job summary

Certified Group in California is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our network of laboratories serving food & beverage, cosmetics, dietary supplements, OTC, tobacco/nicotine, cannabis, and hemp industries.

You will log samples into the LIMS, split samples, provide proactive customer service, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to ISO/ QC requirements. The role requires a high school diploma and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with understanding of aseptic technique.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Good communication and basic math abilities are required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Log customer samples into the LIMS system with accuracy.
• Split samples between departments.
• Provide proactive customer service via phone, email, video chat and other means.
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and reliability of work.
• Adhere to the daily work schedule.
• Assist with purchasing and inventory and light lab housekeeping.
• Support ISO and QC requirements and train others as appropriate.
