Pace® Analytical Services is hiring a Lab Technician 2 in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves preserving, preparing and processing lab samples, and supporting customers with technical documentation and reports. Strong attention to detail and compliance with lab policies are required.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shifts with a pay of $21.00 per hour. A high school diploma and relevant lab support experience are required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of lab support experience. Associates degree preferred.
• Very complex to specialized principles of lab support and technical customer service.
• Ability to learn broad organizational policies on sample maintenance and use of lab data systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations, stocking materials, equipment, safety, cleanliness.
• Supports analytical testing process and reviews results.
• Picks up, transports and maintains results, samples, documents, materials.
• Disposes of laboratory materials following guidelines.
• Performs basic lab equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Reviews complex logs, documents and databases for accuracy.
• Provides support researching issues and developing recommendations.
• Assists with implementing lab support policies and programs for compliance.
