Job summary

SGS North America Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician I to support routine sample preparation and analysis in accordance with SOPs.

You will handle basic instrumentation, maintain records, and work with a team to meet daily targets. With a high school diploma and 1–2 years in analytical chemistry preferred, you will contribute to safe, accurate laboratory operations and uphold SGS's standards of quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Required) 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• After appropriate training independently prepare samples for analysis according to SGS's SOPs using basic instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies.
• Performs routine operation, maintenance, calibration of prep instruments/equipment.
• Inputs and maintains technical information as needed to support the laboratory functions/operations.
• Maintains Laboratory Notebook where applicable.
• Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
