Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment testing lab in Lancaster, PA is hiring a Laboratory Technician I. The role supports lab operations through general maintenance of spaces, equipment, and supplies.

Responsibilities include sample prep, data recording, and glassware washing. Training may occur at the Richmond, VA lab. Requires a high school diploma and basic chemistry experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.
• English proficiency required, including reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation using various methods (aliquot, spike and trace, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepare concentrations).
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling.
• Prepares general lab paperwork and logs results.
• Washes laboratory glassware and stocks supplies.
• Maintains clean work area and safe environment.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
