Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to support daily laboratory operations. The role involves general maintenance of the lab, equipment upkeep, and assisting with problem solving and process improvements within QA guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic chemistry coursework, and the ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Training may occur offsite in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Requirements: Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including aliquoting, spiking, making reagents, bottle samples, and concentrations.
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling.
• Records analysis results, tracks samples, and maintains laboratory logs.
• Washes glassware and stocks supplies.
• Purges and stores samples as required.
• Cleans work areas to maintain safety.
• Assists other lab areas as needed.
