Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a laboratory assistant with AS/BS in Microbiology or related field. Responsibilities include sample registration, data entry into the eLIMS system, and performing routine lab tests with attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be able to work evenings, potentially overtime, and contribute to safe, accurate testing and timely reporting to clients. Competitive benefits and a team-focused environment are offered.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records for quality control.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples and meet turnaround time goals.
• Verify results and submit results to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Identify process issues and report with proposed solutions to supervisor.
