Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Altoona, PA is hiring a Lab Technician I to support our environmental testing lab in the sample preparation department. The position follows a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with compensation at $14.00 per hour.

You will receive training to perform water and soil sample preparation, follow established procedures, and maintain documentation, contributing to accurate data used to protect communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting and wear PPE.
• Laboratory or environmental testing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow established sample preparation procedures.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
