Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing lab in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using EPA methods and SOPs. You will perform routine analyses, record data, and maintain instruments under supervision.

The role requires a BS/BA in chemistry or related field, with 3 years lab experience as a possible substitute. Training at Richmond, VA may be required, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, pay range $21–$24/hr.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute.
• Laboratory experience is helpful
• Reading, writing and speaking skills required
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Promotes the company vision and maintains regular attendance.
• Performs routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods.
• Prepares samples and performs chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Calculates data and records/reports results to supervisor.
• Operates and maintains instruments; handles glassware and housekeeping.
