Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing is hiring an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA methodologies, under GMP/GLP guidelines. The role requires a chemistry degree (or equivalent) and lab experience, with willingness to train at the Richmond, VA facility.

The position is on-site in Lancaster, PA, with standard Monday–Friday hours and a pay range of $21–$23 per hour. Eurofins offers comprehensive benefits and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree
• Laboratory experience helpful; production-oriented work helpful (deadlines)
• Reading, writing and speaking skills in English; problem solving; time management; teamwork and communication

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility
• Prepare samples using standard techniques
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to supervisor
• Perform routine instrument maintenance
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards
• Train and become competent on GC, GC-MS, AA, ICP and instrument data systems
• Work under close supervision using routine methods
• Handle aliquots and weigh samples
• Wash glassware
• Contribute to safe and efficient lab operations
• Train at offsite Richmond, VA lab as needed
• Adhere to protocol disciplines (e.g., Organic prep, Metals prep, GC, GC-MS)
