Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Tempe, AZ to operate in the laboratory, producing and labeling blood components, reviewing records, and data entry. The role supports Vitalant’s life-saving mission and requires attention to detail and accuracy in processing components.

The position offers training, a daytime shift, weekend differential, and comprehensive benefits. High school diploma or GED is required and no prior experience is necessary.

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.

• Weekend Shift Differential: 8%
• Work Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm M-F with rotating weekends
