Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. You will operate within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.

Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. The role offers an hourly rate of $19.39–$20.00 with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a schedule of Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 pm–12:30 am. Benefits include insurance, 401K, and tuition assistance.

• No experience required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
