Job summary

Eurofins Des Moines is seeking a Sample Prep Department technician for the 2nd shift, 4pm–12:30am. You will follow Quality System documents and perform sample preparation, weighing, and analysis to meet customer commitments in a regulated lab environment.

You will maintain records, operate basic lab equipment, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and quality of results across assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or High school diploma with 0-3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples.
• Perform timely and accurate analysis of samples to meet customer commitments.
• Maintain a neat and accurate record system; log data in logbooks and in eLIMS.
• Identify method/matrix/analytical difficulties and report to supervisor.
• Ensure proprietary methodologies are not disclosed to non-employees.
• Maintain clean glassware and prepare solutions for daily testing.
