Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Supervisor - Proximate II for the 3rd shift (12am–8:30am) to oversee departmental operations and ensure high-quality analytical testing. The role requires a science degree, cGMP experience, and 1–5 years of lab leadership or project development experience.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, enforcing quality and safety standards, and contributing to method development and data integrity in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major in an appropriate science field. Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred.
• Prefer experience or coursework in laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics, and technical/business writing.
• Experience working in cGMP environment.
• 1-5 years of applicable and progressively expanded laboratory experience to include the design and review of projects, and the development and review of new testing protocols.
• Basic understanding of cGMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision of general department operations; interface with other department heads; provide guidance on procedures and problems.
• Adhere to quality measures meeting ISO/IEC 17025, government regulations, and company requirements; follow Quality System documents.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure staff adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in instruction, monitoring, troubleshooting and assisting in performance of manual and instrumental analysis; operate equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Develop and edit analysis methods and ensure protocols are scientifically sound.
• Review test data for technical accuracy and assist with SOP and cGMP compliance.
• Perform data entry into eLIMS accurately and timely.
• Assist in writing and reviewing protocols and reports for clients.
