Under close supervision, formulates and conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis/tests in a laboratory setting for current and or new products. Analysis contributes to process improvements, performance, and overall customer product experience.
Executes, formulates and conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis/tests in a laboratory setting for current and or new products. Implements new or improved analytical test methods to enhance capabilities, efficiency and accuracy (repeatability & reproducibility). Carries out prescribed analytical tests and determinations to answer questions and address problems of customers. Records all observations and data in an orderly manner. Reports results in a clear and concise manner to enhance technical exchange.
Maintains equipment, glassware and workspace to keep them clean and well-functioning. Properly disposes of all laboratory waste. Participates in ensuring good management of laboratory equipment, storage spaces for chemicals and raw materials, and compliance with housekeeping rules. Provides analytical service and knowledge to internal and external customers based on the chemist’s current level of expertise. Visits customers when required to assist the Commercial team. Ensures that all equipment and machines in your area of control are managed regarding safety, maintenance, calibration, and availability. Performs project work in cooperation with a variety of internal and external contacts.
