Job summary

LNN Pace Analytical Life Sciences, LLC, in West Columbia, Texas, is hiring Lab Technician I for our environmental testing lab. The role offers an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday schedule, with Saturdays and Sundays off, and a pay of $17.00 per hour.

You'll receive training and work on sample preservation, preparation, processing, maintenance, and documentation, with opportunities to grow within Pace's mission to advance health and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous lab or environmental testing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Support lab sample-related activities including preparation and processing.
• Maintain and update laboratory documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on lab support policies and practices.

What you’ll do

• Support all laboratory sample‑related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.
