Job summary

Pace Labs in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Entry-Level Lab Technician who will train on the job. The role is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an hourly rate of $16.00.

You will receive comprehensive training to perform sample preparation, processing, and related lab duties in our environmental testing lab. We value curiosity and drive to contribute to important scientific work while building a long-term career at Pace Labs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, and wear PPE as provided.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Entry-Level Lab Technician - Will Train! Compensation: $16.00 per hour Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do

• Support all laboratory sample‑related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
