Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions in Mobile, AL is seeking a Lab Technician to join our team. The role involves lab testing of wastewater and ensuring safe chemical properties in our processing plant. AM and PM shifts are available, and the position pays $19 to $20 per hour to start.

You will handle analyses, prepare reagents, manage inventory, ensure safety, and support plant operations while contributing to environmental health and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 hours of college chemistry (wastewater experience may substitute).
• Must be able to work outside and inside regardless of weather.
• Basic knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming trucks and verify offloading tickets and manifests.
• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of wastewater/industrial water.
• Prepare solutions, standards and reagents per SOP.
• Conduct monthly inventory of chemicals and lab supplies.
• Maintain and clean laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Enter results into the computer and generate basic reports.
