Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to support environmental testing in the sample preparation department. You’ll receive training and contribute to meaningful scientific work in a safety-focused environment.

This temporary position lasts 3 months, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with compensation tied to geography and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
