Job summary

Bongards Premium Cheese is hiring a Lab Technician for the Norwood Processing Facility in Norwood, MN. This day shift (7 am–3 pm, Mon–Fri) offers the opportunity to contribute to quality testing in a dairy-focused environment. You will perform daily lab tests (salt, moisture, fat), prepare samples, document results, enter data, and support QA technicians.

Some weekend/holiday work may be required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong arithmetic and reading skills, solid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with good arithmetic and reading skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to perform computer data entry.
• Familiar with safe handling of chemicals and reagents.
• Report food safety and quality concerns to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily lab tests including salt, moisture, fat, and sample prep.
• Document test results and paperwork accurately.
• Enter data electronically and report results.
• Assist QA technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain lab paperwork.
• Operate hand grinder for sample prep.
