Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support analytical testing of products, raw materials, and lab samples.

This role requires a two-year dairy/food related degree and strong math/inspection skills, with a rotating 12-hour night shift (6pm–6am) at the White Bear Lake facility.

You will document results, enter data, alert management to out-of-spec conditions, and help maintain a safe, clean lab environment while complying with procedures.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associates Degree in a Dairy or Food related field, or the equivalent experience.
• Strong math and inspection skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends, shifts and overtime.
• Familiarity with dairy lab procedures and lab equipment use.
• Ability to read meters and charts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Gathers samples for analytical testing and performs laboratory tests on products and materials.
• Documents results and enters data into the computer system.
• Alerts management when products are out of specification.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Trains others on equipment and procedures.
