Job Description

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician for the Construction Materials Testing Lab.

Candidate’s responsibilities include performing laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.

• Perform a variety of standardized laboratory tests on soils and construction materials using established methods.
• Report results of testing as per ASTM requirements.
• Perform laboratory maintenance.
• Conduct maintenance and verifications of laboratory testing equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a technical/engineering background, knowledge or degree and be able to obtain ACI Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hiring.

Strong mathematical skills are required.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
