Job summary

Arnolds Metal Finishing Of Texas In in Tomball, TX is seeking a Laboratory Technician responsible for maintaining chemical solutions in optimal conditions and applying qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. You will operate lab equipment, perform tests for quality, document results, manage certifications, calibrate instruments, and collaborate with the processing team to ensure accurate solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform the basic operations of the laboratory according to standardized processes.
• Execute qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis methods based on standards.
• Manipulate and operate laboratory equipment to perform chemical testing and analysis.
• Carry out tests necessary to ensure quality in the processes and keep a record.
• Keep track of all operations and analysis of chemical solutions.
• Schedule and perform periodic filtrations to chemical solutions.
• Carry out inventories, labels, and registration of certifications for the proper handling and storage of chemical solutions.
• Coordinate chemical additions in order to keep tanks in optimal concentration.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and tools to achieve greater precision in procedures and processes.
• Be available to solve any eventuality during working hours.
• Use and properly manage equipment and tools.
• Keep communication with all processors to solve any discrepancies in the solution tanks.
• Comply with and implement the internal regulations and policies of the company with the personnel in charge.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, such as: disciplinary, confidentiality and security.
• Must attend all trainings coordinated by management.
• Stay updated on processes and procedures to train the personnel in charge.
• Keep continuous communication with work team and company management in order to achieve the established goals.
• Solve any eventuality.
• Evaluate and optimize the use of material.
