Johnson Electric is seeking a motivated Lab Technician Apprentice to join our Electrical Lab team in Plymouth, MI. This on-site role offers hands-on experience and exposure to test systems, validation testing, and data analysis for prototype and production components.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in related courses at Schoolcraft College or Henry Ford College, eligible to work in the United States, at least 18 years old, and capable of passing a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled, or planning to enroll, in related instructional courses at Schoolcraft College and/or Henry Ford College.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for ~70% of the workday.

Responsabilités

• Support the Engineering Test Lab and Product Engineering by developing test systems and validating components.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute validation testing with internal and external resources.
• Conduct durability, temperature cycling, NVH and other tests.
• Build test harnesses, circuits, and fixturing for product testing.
• Mount, instrument, and connect components; assist in test control programming.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize test data to prepare technical reports.
