Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking an Associate Lab Technician in Jackson, MI, onsite. The role focuses on collecting data using formal training, applying standard procedures, and ensuring data quality and validity.

You will support process improvement and have limited direct customer interface on technician-operated projects. We value proactive problem-solving, flexibility, and the ability to maintain performance during audits and certification testing.

Qualifications

• Ownership of work schedule to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly productivity goals.
• Assist with process and procedure development, industry code interpretation, and application.
• Limited direct customer interface on technician-operated projects.
• Follow basic standard procedures to produce repeatable data either for direct submission to customers or for further analytical work.
• Other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.
