Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to manage server and network hardware on our lab floor and in the field. You will rack, cable, install, and swap components, while maintaining accurate asset records and documentation.

You will collaborate with remote engineers and partners, diagnosing issues at the console in Linux and performing complex repairs. This role includes on-site verification of liquid cooling work and close vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Deployed and supported server and network hardware in live data centers or labs.
• Troubleshoot server hardware deeply: POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Rack-and-stack execution on the lab floor, with cabling and hardware installs.
• Receive, inventory, and document equipment, handle RMAs end to end.
• Provide smart-hands support for remote engineering and hardware partners on-site.
• Support liquid cooling work, including CDU connections and leak inspection.
• Act as on-site point of contact for facility-floor issues and vendor escorts.
