Shift Details

8 am to 6 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Off on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours may vary to accommodate vacations, personal days, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Compensation

Starting hourly wage: $20.50/hr. This is the anticipated pay range for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow standard procedures and detailed instructions.
• Obtain samples from containers, tanks, and vats for testing.
• Conduct testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare the laboratory for various activities.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Use computer applications to input and calculate data.
• Observe and record details accurately.
• Obtain State Lab Certification.
• Complete all tasks before shift ends.
• Adhere to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of lab experience.
• Excellent math and computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Office, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Work in a factory environment with varying noise and heat levels.
• Occasional work routine changes.
• Standing for long periods (8+ hours).
• Sitting occasionally for short durations.
• Walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Occasional heavy lifting (50+ lbs), carrying (40-60 lbs), and pushing/pulling (under 75 lbs without assistance).
