Covia is seeking a dynamic Lab Technician to support the Operations team at its Technisand Troy Grove location in Troy Grove, IL. The role focuses on sample preparation, lab testing, and accurate reporting of results to support product quality and process improvements.

The successful candidate will perform routine laboratory procedures, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a collaborative team environment within a diverse company committed to safety and sustainable growth.

Formación

• Experience performing basic laboratory tests and handling samples.
• Familiarity with data entry and reporting test results.
• Understanding of safety standards in a laboratory environment.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and prepare product samples for analysis and storage.
• Conduct tests according to established lab procedures.
• Record and report test results using computer applications.
• Maintain clean and organized laboratory workspace.
• Adhere to Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards.

Covia is looking for a dynamic Lab Technician who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Technisand Troy Grove location in Troy Grove, IL.

The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:

• Obtaining and preparing product samples for analysis and storage
• Conducting various tests according to established laboratory procedures
• Utilizing various computer applications to compile, record and report test results
• Performing general housekeeping within the laboratory
• Following Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times
• Working in a physically demanding work environment

The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

• Physical and chemical laboratory testing procedures
• Microsoft Office and various other computer applications
• Basic mathematics, statistical analysis, and particle size distributions
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
