Laboratory Technician - Entry Level Role

Onsite in Newark, DE 19711

Pay Rate: $19-20 per hour W2

Duration: 6 months to start (potential to extend/convert)

Schedule: 7-9am start time; M-F, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of a microbiological testing laboratory, including but not limited to:
• Receive, unpack, and organize customer samples for laboratory processing.
• Organize and prepare customer returns for processing.
• Under supervision and guidance discard customer samples.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine cleaning of all laboratory equipment as needed.
• Assist with Operations laboratory inventory.
• Restock consumables and materials required for sample processing.
• Under supervision and guidance operate laser cutter.
• Dispose of microbial cultures, chemicals, recyclables, sharps, and glass in proper waste containers.
