Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Lab Technician in Marlborough, MA for a contract opportunity. The role focuses on theoretical and experimental investigations in materials science, with emphasis on synthesis, formulations and product development.

The candidate will document observations, analyses and results, and contribute to patent-related work. Ideal applicants hold a BS/MS in chemistry/chemical engineering or materials science and have experience in material science, synthesis, and related lab

• BS/MS degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/materials science or related field.
• Experience in material science, synthesis, formulations or product development.
• Experience in photo-patterning field and fabrication laboratory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs theoretical and experimental scientific and technological investigation.
• Conduct analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact‑finding work to support principal scientific research.
• Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results, including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
• Identifies, assesses and develops new scientific concepts/technologies in basic or applied research with significant business impact. Documents research leading to patent disclosure or technical and/or scientific advancement.
• Establish fundamental understanding and structure-property-functional relationship of new materials.
