Job summary

Yoh is hiring a Chemist in St. Louis, MO to join our client and focus on daily sample testing and a variety of laboratory analyses on raw materials, in-process and finished batches. Fresh Chemistry graduates are encouraged to apply, with responsibilities including documenting findings and ensuring GMP compliance.

The role requires handling GC, HPLC and other instruments, maintaining clean lab stations, and supporting QC/manufacturing procedures in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related Scientific field.
• Knowledge and understanding of Chemistry.
• Experience with laboratory equipment including GC, HPLC, FT-IR and basic glassware.

• Perform sample testing on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products per established procedures
• Prepare samples for analysis
• Maintain a clean and orderly working station
• Document findings and share with internal end-users
• Have a full understanding of GMP regulations and ensure that all documentation meets standards
• Understand QC and Manufacturing procedures
• Run routine GC and HPLC analysis
• Assist with OOS/OOT and investigations
• Assist with IQ/OQ/PQ and instrument validation/calibration tasks
