Job summary

Volt is actively seeking a Lab Technician in Maplewood, MN to perform adhesive testing and related analyses in a fast-paced lab setting.

You will compile and interpret results, manage data, and coordinate testing projects while following established procedures in a self-directed team environment.

Qualifications

• One year or more working in a laboratory testing environment.
• Data entry and analysis, including Excel and other software packages.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform adhesive testing with mechanical and bulk characterization.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Manage product testing projects, including schedule and data management.
• Conduct chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses per procedures and methods.

Volt is immediately hiring for Lab Technician in Maplewood, MN.

As a Lab Technician you will:

• Hands-on skills with adhesive testing, including mechanical and bulk characterization
• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Managing product testing projects as assigned, including schedule and data management
• Worker performs chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.

This is a full-time, Contract opportunity.

Shift: 1st

Expected Duration: 12 months

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• One year or more working in a laboratory testing environment
• Data entry and analysis, including Excel and other software packages
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution

Pay Rate: $24.50-$26.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
