Job summary

Palmer Companies, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Lab Technician to support a new product line by developing and transferring analytical testing methods for raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

You will perform tests, analyze data, troubleshoot instruments like HPLC, GC, GC-MS, and FTIR, and ensure GMP/DEA compliance while writing technical reports. The role operates on-site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required.
• A degree in chemistry is desired; a PhD is preferred.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements within cGMP, safety, and regulatory environments.
• Operational knowledge of analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC.
• Strong ability to solve extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data is used.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical testing methods for raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

Our local client is experiencing growth with a new product line they are introducing, so they are seeking aLab Technician to join their team. This role involves working with established SOPs and a newly established line created to increase sales. In this position, you will perform tests and analyze data from GC testing.
