Job summary

Aylo Health, LLC is seeking a Lab Tech/Lab Assistant to provide patient care in a primary/family practice under the direction of a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner. The role serves patients of all ages including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

You will perform quality control, daily maintenance on diagnostic equipment, and routine laboratory tests. A high school diploma and one year of lab experience are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of laboratory processor/assistant experience required (enrollment in an MLT program may substitute).
• Current BLS from American Heart Association before hire date.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate multiple ongoing tasks.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control, monitor equipment temperatures, and perform daily lab tasks.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks necessary for daily operation of the lab.
• Collect, prepare, clean, and store lab equipment.
• Perform phlebotomy and maintain records and lab files.
• Perform CLIA waived and routine moderate complexity laboratory tests.
• Enter data into EMR or similar systems.
• Inventory and stock reagents and chemical solutions and materials.
• Adhere to all standards of care, HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
