Aylo Health, LLC in the United States is seeking a Lab Tech/Lab Assistant to support a primary care practice under supervision. You will perform quality control, handle routine lab tasks, and assist with phlebotomy while maintaining accurate records and compliance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a laboratory processor or laboratory assistant; current enrollment in a Medical Laboratory Technician program may be substituted.
• Graduate of a Medical Laboratory Technician program preferred (Certification not required).
• Current Basic Life Support card from the American Heart Association, prior to hire date.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize, and facilitate many on-going tasks.
• Must be organized and attentive to detail, and able to work quickly and efficiently to assure quality.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance.

Responsabilités

• Performs quality control and monitors equipment temperatures.
• Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on diagnostic equipment.
• Performs routine laboratory tasks for daily operation of the lab.
• Collects, prepares, cleans, and stores lab equipment.
• Performs phlebotomy and maintains records.
• Performs CLIA waived and moderate complexity tests.
• Key data into electronic medical records or similar procedures.
• Maintains inventory and stocks reagents and supplies.
• Adheres to HIPAA, Code of Conduct, and standards of care.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
