Job summary

Join a Quality Control Laboratory team at a fast-paced facility where precision, safety, and scientific rigor matter every day. As a Lab Tech - II (Associate), you’ll conduct advanced laboratory procedures independently under the guidance of the area lead and department manager, supporting the testing ofveterinary biologicalsin accordance with strict government and company guidelines. You’ll work with analytical instrumentation, follow aseptic technique and Good Lab Practices (GLP), maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure quality results from start to finish.

Required Skills

• Environmental working conditions:indoor/outdoor work withvarying temperatures, including enteringcoolers and freezers
• Physical requirements:majority of time spentstanding, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting; able tolift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• PPE requiredper Safety Policy (examples include safety glasses, safety shoes, LN gear, face shield, apron, gloves)
• Rabies titer and vaccinationrequiredpost-offer once the worker begins their assignmentand will be performedonsite
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe work environment andreport unusual/non-routine occurrences
• Ability to clean and prepare lab work areas and supportequipment set-up and operations
• Ability to manage labeling/accumulation ofhazardous, universal, and/or infectious wasteswhen assigned
