Job summary

Afton Chemical is seeking a laboratory technician in Sauget, IL to perform industry and other tests using established procedures. You will log samples, enter results, and send electronic reports, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment and conducting safety inspections.

Preferred candidates hold an Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience with general lab techniques and a solid grasp of lab terminology. Willingness to work alternate shifts is a plus.

• General laboratory techniques and practices experience preferred.
• Skills in effective oral and written communication essential.
