Piedmont HealthCare is hiring for a patient-focused role in its laboratory services. The position involves processing specimens, performing venipunctures, and assisting with both clinical and non-clinical tasks under supervision to ensure accurate results.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience, with EKG experience considered a plus, within a healthcare or clerical laboratory setting.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with EKGs preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists with both clinical and non-clinical tasks while working under the direct supervision of a licensed medical technologist/technician to ensure that accurate, reliable results are generated by the laboratory.
