Piedmont is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to join our clinical team. You will perform venipunctures, process samples, and assist with clinical and non-clinical tasks to ensure accurate test results and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Experience in healthcare or lab settings is also preferred.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform venipunctures and specimen collection is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and Piedmont policies.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens; assists with both clinical and non-clinical tasks under supervision of a licensed professional to ensure accurate, reliable results.

Responsibilities

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists with both clinical and non-clinical tasks while working under the direct supervision of a licensed medical technologist/ technician to ensure that accurate, reliable results are generated by the laboratory.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
• Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred
