Job summary

GSK in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Technical Expert to define network integration strategies for R&D computerized systems, ensuring data integrity and cyber security across non-regulated and GxP environments.

You will partner with Quality, CSV, Tech, Procurement, and R&D platforms to accelerate scientific results while leading an internal network of experts and maintaining documentation, change management, and service upgrades.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life science, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in management of IT or Automation team/project.
• Expertise in defining network integration solutions for computerized lab systems.
• Experience and advanced knowledge in IT industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the landscape design for computerized systems in CAPEX projects, adhering to Tech rules and Data Integrity & Cyber Security standards.
• Lead integration of complex Client-Server solutions, cross-platforms or cross-sites.
• Share knowledge of best practices and current trends in Cyber Security Threats and Protection.
• Embed Cyber Security into all solutions and ways-of-working along the system’s life cycle.
• Define plans for Systems’ Life Cycle Management, including maintenance, backups, disaster recovery and obsolescence management.
• Review/Approve validation documentation and deliverables for release and validation of R&D Computerized Systems (non-GxP and GxP).
• Create SOPs and guidance documents in the field of expertise.
• Coordinate Periodic reviews, Service Catalogue upgrades, Change Management, and prioritization of activities.
