Job summary

CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC in Moraine, OH, is seeking an entry level Technical Assistant for the Part-Time Day Shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation. This position starts at $18.00/hour and offers hands-on exposure in the Microbiology Core Lab.

You will assist with phlebotomy, specimen handling, instrument setup, quality control, and inventory, working under supervision to support testing workflows and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Natural Science/Allied Health preferred.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and setup of laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare and load quality control materials.
• Evaluate specimens for acceptability and load onto laboratory instruments.
• Recognize instrument and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in review of pending logs and ensure timely testing.
• Track inventory, order supplies and stock as needed.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly safety checks and PPE compliance.
• Communicate issues courteously following policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
