Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent is required.
• Prior experience using specialized lab equipment (glassware washer, drum lift, pallet jack).
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license for transporting samples/materials.
• Experience handling hazardous materials including hydrocarbon samples with H2S and benzene.

Responsibilities

• Wash lab glassware and return to designated areas.
• Empty oily waste cans and broken glassware containers.
• Provide Refinery Lab Services with lists of supplies and equipment needs.
• Maintain gas cylinders and ensure proper functioning of lab equipment.
• Maintain supply of solvent drums for lab reagents.
• Keep assigned areas clean and free of clutter or hazards.
• Deliver supplies to units, collect samples, and retrieve dirty glassware.
• Special preparation of sample containers and solutions used in routine lab work.
• Participate in lab safety meetings and assist as needed.
• Report for work on time and work safely.
