Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Glass Wash Assistant to perform basic and specialty glassware cleaning and sterilization, and to support lab operations in the glass wash facilities. You will handle automated and manual cleaning processes, equipment operation, and data documentation.

Qualifications

• Dish room or glass wash experience is preferred.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to document daily activities in written form including data tracking.
• Must multitask and manage time effectively.
• Adheres to the Employee Guide and department policies (appearance, safety, confidentiality, smoking).

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and custom glassware cleaning and sterilization using manual and automated equipment.
• Assist with lab coat laundering, collection & delivery, inventory, assignment and collection to team members.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated glass washing instrumentation.
• Maintain dark rooms and monitor cleanliness and supplies.
• Document usage and data entries as required.
• Maintain adequate inventory of stock items.
